The "HEART AWARD" was established more than thirty years ago by Coach Milo Trusty.

This award is given on a regular basis throughout the year to wrestlers that never give up, have the strength of mind that enables them to endure adversity with courage.

One can earn this award win or lose, by showing a quality of spirit to face pain and adversity without showing fear, and never giving up no matter how difficult the situation may seem.
