MATPAC Wrestling understands the vital importance of wellness care for its wrestlers and coaches. Our goal—to set a high standard of excellence in Colorado wrestling—must be overseen by an equally high standard in professional care for our members. The team members will have the opportunity to be educated and treated by some of the most accomplished Doctors, Strength Trainers, and Coaches in the country.

MATPAC is honored to introduce our Team Wellness Staff:

Dr. Henrickson has dedicated the past 22 years of her career to the study, education, and treatment of athletes. As an accomplished athlete herself, she understands the importance of a healthy diet as well as an injury prevention program. Some of her athletic accomplishments include gymnastics (ND State title), body building (Regional Light Weight Title), collegiate cross country runner, a tri-athlete, and a former “Miss Iowa Fitness.”

Wellness Director: Dr. Jennifer J Henrickson DC MM

Dr. Henrickson studied Biology/Chemistry at the University of Mary where she ran varsity cross country. During this time, she also owned her own Personal Training business called Trusty Fitness.

The University of Iowa is where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law. During this time, she was a strength and conditioning coach for many different types of competitive athletes, including former Hawkeye wrestlers and Professional Body Builders.

She continued her education at the University of Mary, earning a Master’s Degree in Business/Management and was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University’s wrestling team. She was also the Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Prairie View Clinic in Bismarck.

Over the last six years, Dr. Henrickson has dedicated her life to the study and treatment of wellness care. She is a graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. Her post-doctoral study and research includes Applied Kinesiology and Cold Laser Therapy, two highly regarded techniques used in professional sports today.
