MATPAC Wrestling is, first and foremost, a competitive wrestling program that is celebrating 30 years of developing young men into champions on and off the mat. MATPAC is a proven “system” that focuses on a world-class technique for all ages, and teaches the value of having fun, hard work, never giving up, and “winning will take care of itself” philosophy.

MATPAC will set examples on how to conduct yourself in different situations. MATPAC will help develop character and guide wrestlers on and off the mat. We are compassionate, caring, and are consistently trying to provide a positive influence in the lives of our athletes.

MATPAC uses “the positive method of coaching” totally! Your children will NEVER be hollered or screamed at for mistakes or performances.

Trophies are given weekly, such as the MATPAC "HEART AWARD” which is given to all age levels for hard work and never giving up.

Sportsmanship is stressed daily. It is a must to be on this team (coaches, wrestlers, and parents).

No matter how long it takes for your athlete to be competitive, we want to be his or her coach.

At the end of each practice, we give a short “life’s lesson” talk that may cover topics like sportsmanship, helping at home, how champions think, acting on a loss or a win, nutrition, peer pressure (smoking, drugs, and alcohol), being a good friend, and helping those in need.

MATPAC will help develop positive personal, social, and psychological skills.

MATPAC will provide competitive workout partners for all levels. Coaches have trained, competed, and coached successfully at all levels.

MATPAC will feature guest appearances from well-known national wrestlers and coaches.
